Start by identifying the patient and recording the relevant consultation details. When you dictate a medicine, include the name, strength, dose, route, frequency, and duration you intend to prescribe. Add quantity and instructions where applicable.

Docwrite organizes the information you supply into a draft. The assistant can ask you to clarify missing information. Check the resulting fields against your intended treatment; transcription and AI drafting can make mistakes.

Before your first dictation.

Do I have to use voice for every message?

No. You can type, dictate, or combine both in the same consultation. A transcribed note can be edited directly in the message box.

Does Docwrite automatically issue the prescription?

No. The assistant prepares a draft. You review the patient details, medication fields, and open questions before confirming the draft and opening a copy for your signature.

What if the microphone does not work?

Check microphone permissions for Docwrite in your browser. The workspace supports recording in compatible versions of Chrome, Edge, and Safari. You can keep working by typing your notes.
