About the college directory

Explore 1,476 public institution listings across 34 Indian states and union territories. The directory currently covers medical, dental and homoeopathy college register listings. Other health education fields are not included in this public view.

Coverage by field

An institution may appear in more than one field. Field totals therefore overlap. Coverage varies by field and does not guarantee that every college, campus or current course is included.

Record dates matter

Entries use public professional college registers. Course and permission record years appear beside the relevant facts. A collection date indicates when we obtained the record, not when the institution was inspected or independently verified.

Inclusion does not establish current admission permission, accreditation, ranking or endorsement. Blank permission information does not mean approval. A recorded seat intake is not a count of available counselling seats.

Names and separate campuses

Course records sharing a stable institution identifier are combined. Different campuses and constituent colleges can have separate entries. Where a name match is uncertain, listings remain separate for review.

What we do not guess

Fees, cut-offs, placements, rankings, contact details and recognition are not filled in from assumptions. Some listings have only a name, location and recorded courses. Verify current information before applying or paying a fee.

Corrections

Use “Suggest a correction” on a college page to report an outdated name, duplicate, course or contact detail. Include an official supporting link. Requests are reviewed before public records change. Do not submit student records or identity documents.
